The Broken Peanut Casino THIS SUNDAY!
Get rich quick at Peanut Gallery this Sunday, July 22 from 1 to 9pm at our annual fundraiser party!!!
We have transformed the space into a spectacular, functioning casino where visitors will use art as currency. You will be able to purchase paper at the gallery for $5 and use our rad supplies (donated by Genesis Art Supply) to make work at our drawing station to wager. You don’t have to make the work at the gallery, but we’ve gotta charge you $5 if you bring your own. Hate making art but wanna win some? Buy a token. $5. No problem. Games include Cee-Lo, Blackjack and a spinning wheel thing like on The Price is Right. Hate games? Bid in our silent auction! Win art, music, gift certificates and more!!! Or, you know, stand around and drink beer. That’s cool, too. We’d love to see you.Why the hell should you help us raise funds? We need your help, you see, because we don’t make any profit here at Peanut Gallery. We run the space out of pocket out of love for you, our talented friends and neighbors, because we want to create a space for you to come, create, mingle, collaborate, and promote yourselves and your ideas.
